Name the Lamb Competition

Over the summer the Trustees of the Watercress Way have been inviting children to enter a Name The Lamb competition with a prize of a cuddly lamb.Events included our Dawn to Dusk Day on 29 April, guided walks in Easton and Sutton Scotney, the Alresford Watercress Festival and fetes in Kings Worthy and South Wonston.We were delighted by the inventiveness of the entries on The Watercress Way theme.The 45 entries were difficult to judge. In the end the winning entries chosen by the Trustees were:

• 2 year old Alex with “Cresstopher”
• 5 year old Sydney with “Drover”
• 8 year old Imogen with “Cressida”

The lambs were duly delivered this month to their new loving homes.Congratulations to allKim Adams,Trustee
