Waymarking nears completion

We are delighted to announce that we have almost completed putting up the signs for the entire route. The trustees have put up waymarkers from Alresford to Sutton Scotney. We are grateful to the Winchester Ramblers for their help in putting up The Watercress Way roundels on the sections of the Drove for the return to Alresford. We are now in the process of signing the route in both directions. There are still sections of the route which are under discussion in Kings Worthy, Alresford and Sutton Scotney and we will update the website once these are finalised.See also our Twitter and Facebook pages. Please try the shorter circular walks on the website as well as attempting the longer sections.Any photographs would be gratefully received and we will post them if you give permission. Please email us if you do the whole 26-mile marathon at info@thewatercressway.org.uk.If you have any problems following the route or have any suggestions for improved signage please let us know.We depend totally on donations and grants.Waymarkers cost £1.50 each. All donations gratefully received and will be used to improve the route. Please use mydonate on the website which also lets you use Gift Aid.Enjoy walking The Watercress Way, especially as the weather improves.Photos:
